Public Art + Scripps Park + You will make for a great summer in Detroit!
Woodbridge Neighborhood Development Corporation (WNDC) and Forward Arts are partnering to bring Access Arts’ open-air public art exhibits and youth arts education program to Scripps Park in Detroit. Access Arts will curate 2 large-scale exhibitions at the park. Each exhibition will be on display for a month with work produced by local artists. In tandem with the exhibits, Access Arts will also facilitate 4 youth art workshops. Students from workshops will participate in exhibitions by creating their own works of art. Your donations will fund the teachers and materials for the art education program as well as artists’ materials and labor for the exhibits. Keep in mind; your donation will assist in fulfilling education needs of our city. The exhibits are unique and positive experiences that you can participate in.
